Thank you for your interest in the Housing Agency of Jamaica Limited. The Online Housing Application Portal (OHAP) page was created because we understand the importance of our customers need to access our housing solutions from anywhere in the world.
These instructions will guide you in applying for our available home through the Online Housing Application Portal (OHAP).
Step 1
Go to the website at www.hajl.gov.jm and select the properties tab. Then click on the now selling option from the drop down list. (Note only properties that are “now selling” will have the option to apply) Select the development that you would like to apply for by clicking on it.
Step 2
Once you have selected the development, click on the tab labelled “APPLY NOW” and carefully read the instructions.
Step 3
All areas of the form with an asterisk are mandatory and will require a response to successfully complete the application. Ensure that all the address fields are completed as incomplete field will not be accepted and your application will not be submitted.
Step 4
Ensure that all documents are uploaded in their required slots at the end of the application before attempting to submit the application.
Step 5
Once you have successfully completed your application you will receive a confirmation message on your screen and one will be sent your email.
Your application will then be process by the Agency and a status update will be sent to your email within 3-5 working days. Thereafter, a representative from the Agency will be in touch with you to provide further instructions concerning the way forward. (Kindly check your junk mail or spam on a daily basis after submitting your application)
Please ensure that the contact person/s placed on your application is/are trusted and confidential individual/s who will be able to assist in contacting you if the Agency is unable to get in touch with you at anytime.
