Invitation for Bid

 

Housing Agency of Jamaica Limited (HAJL) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Infrastructure Works – Eden Park, St. Mary:

 

Description

Infrastructure works that involve construction of roadways, water supply and drainage system.

Eligibility

Bidders must produce valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) and must be registered with the National Contracts Commission (NCC) in Civil Engineering or General Road Works at a minimum level of Grade 2 at the time of submission of bids.

 

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as per GOJ Procurement Guidelines as specified in the Handbook for Public Sector Procurement November 2008, and is open to all eligible NCC registered bidders.

 

Tender Documents

 

Documents are available for a non-refundable fee of $3,000.00 (payable by cash or manager’s cheque) from 3 June to 19 June 2009 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and may be purchased at the address below. 

 

Date/time for return of Bids

 

Sealed bids should be returned by Friday, 3 July 2009, at 12:00 noon and deposited in the tender box located at the address below.  All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of $870,000.00 (payable by manager’s cheque).  Late bids will be rejected.

 

Opening of Bids

 

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Friday, 3 July 2009 at 12:15 p.m.
